Sheldon H. Jacobson is a Founder Professor of Computer Science at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. His research interests span theory and practice, covering decision-making under uncertainty, with applications in aviation security, public health, computational redistricting, and sports analytics. His research has been widely reported and featured in the national press, including the Washington Post, the Chicago Tribune, the Los Angeles Times, and the Boston Globe.
