Neil has led the contract research operation of the Calvin University Center for Social Research since 2004, conducting hundreds of social-scientific research projects, from small program evaluations to large multi-year field surveys. A political science Ph.D. educated at Duke University, he specializes in voluntary associations, organizational behavior, workplace culture, and public opinion surveys. But his core expertise is designing custom combinations of data-driven technologies to achieve research goals, from the Qualtrics survey suite to multiple databases to Python applications to data visualization with Tableau and statistical analysis with Stata and R.
