Data as a Cultural Competency: How Google Enables Everyone to Be an Innovator

Invited Talk | Day 3 | 15:25:00 | 45 Minute Duration | GG-E/F
Data is abundant in the world – it is simultaneously the fastest growing and most precious asset at any enterprise. Data without context or people to convert it into actionable insights, however, becomes a liability – an investment with no ROI. Knowing that deep data science skills are a scarce resource, Google has developed a set of tools that enables everyone to make data useful no matter what an end-user’s technical depth is.

This talk will focus on how enterprises are using data not only to fuel their business growth, but also how it is driving innovation and change across the culture of an organization. It will also outline why using data as the center of gravity for a digital transformation is critical, and how Google has partnered with companies to do so. Finally, in seeing how Google is democratizing AI/ML, this talk will outline how any company can be a data-driven organization.
