An End-to-End IoT Architecture in 30 minutes

Contributed Talk | Day 2 | 14:20:00 | 45 Minute Duration | GG-B

The Internet of Things is exploding. By 2025 IDC estimates there will be 41 billion connected devices in the world, collectively generating close to 80 zettabytes of data. These devices span dozens of industries, including health care, home automation, energy, logistics, retail, transportation and more.

Want to know a secret? Despite all the differences between these industries, every single one of these billions of devices will leverage the same basic, high-level architecture.

In this talk, we’ll walk through that architecture in less than a half-hour. When we’re done, you’ll be able to identify the common components that every IoT solution needs to be successful. Using this knowledge, you’ll be better equipped to lead your organization to IoT success.

This talk is aimed at business and engineering leaders looking to understand how connected solutions work.
